How´re you?
We learnt some new expressions on our topic "Jobs":
(to wear a uniform; to work shifts; to work 9 to 5; to work outdoors/indoors, in the office, hospital, school etc; to work with one´s hands, computer, children, on TV etc).
To ask about somebody´s job we say:
What does he do? - He is a mechanic.
What does she do? - She is a nurse.
What do you do? - I´m a teacher.
Also we played a Gussing Game where we aksed questions about smb´s job:
Do you work in the office? - Yes, I do.
Do you wear a uniform? - No, I don´t.
Do you work shifts? - No, I don´t. I work 9 to 5.
Do you work with the computer? - Yes, I do.
Are you a secretary? - Yes, I am.
We got some points for our Olympic games:

What jobs do the people in your family do?
Why don't you interview a member of your family about their job and then tell us all about it? Here are some questions you could ask them:
- Where do you work?
- What do you do?
- What time do you start and finish?
- Do you have to wear a uniform?
- What do you like about your job?
- What don't you like about your job?
Your homework: choose a job you like, write 10 sentences to describe it, use new words and expressions we learnt, find a photo or a picture of this profession. Prepare a presentation!
